The accommodation was lovely and quiet with no noise. We had to drive about 1 mile up a lane way to get to it. They like you take your shoes off on entering as there is a lot of wooden floors. The rooms were basic with no Tv (thankfully). There was no tea / coffee making facilities but there was availability down stairs for some. The breakfast was very basic but got us started for the day that lay ahead.

How clean it was, smelt lovely, room was spacious, bathroom was fully stocked and so clean. The cleanest bathroom I've ever had (air bnb and hotels). Florencia and the manager are clearly managing the place with high standards. The breakfast was lovely. We will be back here!

Friendly host. Large communal areas like a hostel, nice to socialise with other guests if you like to. The location is lovely if you have your own transport. The unsealed road was in very good condition on our visit Sept 24, mostly almost as smooth as a sealed road.

Extemely warm welcome from Mehda and quickly felt at home whilst staying in the Lodge. Enjoyed the extremely cosy lounge area late afternoon/early evening. Continental breakfasts were plentiful, and very useful to have use of communal fridge. We ate out the 3 nights of our stay, but the outside BBQ area option was a helpful option, if not wanting to go into town. We took advantage of Mehda's recommendations for dinner which were excellent.

The Alpine Meadows Lodge is a lovely hotel in Golden. Its position is perfect for exploring most of the national parks of the Canadian Rockies, as Golden is located between the Glacier and Yoho National Parks, and it is still not far from Banff and Jasper National Parks. The hotel is built in a traditional mountain style, it is clean and very nicely made and furnished. Medha, the owner and manager, as well as the staff are superfriendly, kind, and very attentive :) There is always access to the room where you can have tea and coffee at any time of the day. It is strongly recommended as base to explore this beautiful area of Canada.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. There were really good options for breakfast and the room was comfortable. There were some lovely spaces to relax around the lodge.

The location is great ! The living room is very comfortable and cozy. I loved reading there. The breakfast is good and the staff is really nice. The bed is comfortable too.
