This was our second time staying at Soul Peppers Surfers, it was great. The only downer was the internet wouldn’t link up to the televisions. For $750AUD for one night, you want to make sure you have everything available. Other than that our stay was amazing, the room was clean and the views were stunning.

Have stayed at soul now for many years. Was not told about the extra you have now to pay for car parking . Disappointed that we wasn’t to .

Initial disappointment as we were told room wasn’t ready (hour after check in time) we were given drink vouchers and breakfast for entire stay which was a lovely gesture however when we arrived at the room everything was wet! The condensation was insane. Walls were dripping with water and the floor was so slippery. Considering the room was just made ready as we arrived it’s hard to believe someone didn’t leave it like this and just hoped it rectified itself! They did have maintenance come and have a look after an hour or so and wipe everything down while we were out but we had to have them come again as it just got worse (maintenance guy was shocked at the state of the room) We then had to request to move room because we couldn’t walk around without shoes on or we would have slipped over and we couldn’t sit on any furniture as it was all wet. We did get a room upgrade which again lovely gesture but was nearly 8pm and I have an 11 month old so was not great start to trip. New room had a much better view but less wardrobe space and some drawers and shelves were broken (paying big $$$ to stay). The hotel amenities are lovely but was just a disappointing start to the trip as the first afternoon/night was spent trying to dry a room we paid $1500 for. We also couldn’t get out of the carpark. After paying $75 for 3 days our carpark ticket did not work which is a nightmare when you have cars lined up behind you. Thankfully there was a peppers employee leaving at the same time as us who helped us otherwise we would have had to get every car to move, park again and go back up to the hotel. So not a great start or end. Location is wonderful and the staff were really pleasant and helpful and did their best to fix issues but that doesn’t change the experience unfortunately. Just a shame about the initial room issue as it did ruin our first afternoon and evening completely and when you pay for 5 star the expectation is high.

Awesome location and ocean views. Room was very comfortable and spacious for two of us. Water pressure in the shower was great!
