Built in 1545, the hotel is situated directly on the Traun River, only a few steps away from Lake Traun, the city square and all sights.

- attentive service, The Owner/ Manager was onsite to greet - Great amenities, spacious rooms - Loved the big balcony with district views - Lift - (which we found is not always standard or common in Europe) - amazing continental breakfast spread - Staff went out of their way to cater for our requests incl celiac disease - Location superb - garage undercover - Super cosy hotel - highly recommend -

Although we typically only stay at brand hotels, this was a very positive exception! The owner was super kind and helpful-was expecting us. Service was great! The town was great! And the owner’s recommendation for dinner… was the best meal we’ve had on our trip! Go to Weinstube Spies for the best meal and desert and service!
