The fine print
In response to feedback from guests the hotel has decided to protect privacy and stop offering automatic daily servicing of rooms. If guests staying for more than two nights want housekeeping it can be arranged upon request. For all guests a basket of fresh supplies will be placed outside room doors after the first night and replenished daily as required.Arrivals earlier than advertised check-in times are possible. Please contact the hotel prior to arrival for more information.You can use the hotel's car park on the morning of your arrival and park for up to one day after check-out.Please note guide dogs are allowed in the hotel.

We received a very friendly welcome and were provided with a wealth of useful information. Our room was scrupulously clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and gave an excellent night's sleep. We elected to have a light breakfast which offered a wide choice of cereals, together with fruit juice, toast and coffee. The location of the hotel is most convenient, situated on a road with a frequent bus service, while. It is only a modest walk into the City centre.

Staff very knowable of local area. Very private room with top up service of extras left out side door Room had fridge for fresh milk and gin kept cold. Good parking around back of hotel. Hotel felt very safe

I travel a lot with my work and this was one of the best. Fridge and microwave in the room so I had the safety of a hotel environment and the flexibility of self catering Comfy bed large tv good value. Easy parking east access to the hospital.

A 15 minute walk from the Quays and centre, a real quirky hotel but spotlessly clean, free parking, clean towels every day, and a fridge and microwave in room. Our party had 9 and 5 rooms, and all were very positive. Would return.

Hotel was 10 mins walk from Gloucester railway station and town centre. Owner was friendly and helpful. Room was on ground floor. Clean and tidy. Shower worked ok. Be aware they don't restock the tea and coffee in the room. It was apparently in a basket outside my door but I did not see this. I would use again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Edward hotel. It was the perfect location for the town centre and for a private party we were attending, with parking! The rooms were spacious, clean and warm. The bed was so comfortable, I’ve never slept so well away from my own bed. The owners were friendly and funny. Breakfast was great too. An all round great place to stay if you’re visiting Gloucester. A great find, we will be back.
