The fine print
In response to feedback from guests the hotel has decided to protect privacy and stop offering automatic daily servicing of rooms. If guests staying for more than two nights want housekeeping it can be arranged upon request. For all guests a basket of fresh supplies will be placed outside room doors after the first night and replenished daily as required.

“quirky hotel, nice enough breakfast”

owner knows a lot about the sights and what’s on, he is a city guide, parking facilities are limited but our car was safely parked at the back of the property with direct access to the hotel.

Friendly welcome, RM had microwave, and management let us bring food back and use plates and cutlery etc. We had a family room and masses of space, our beds were v comfy. The hotel is a bit 'tired' but it's clean, welcoming, on our walking route and 5mins from ry station.

Lovely spacious room, perhaps a little dated in part for some people, but a lovely comfortable firm bed, very good breakfast, parking was fine, and the owners were interesting to talk to. Wish I could have stayed longer.
