I loved learning about Keith's vision in the creation of the ecolodge, how he repurposed a church and a train carriage into lodgings and a kitchen. I also enjoyed the peace and serenity of the place and the integration of nature into the grounds of the ecolodge but also the use of wood on the property to make bedroom furniture. Guests were well catered for, and the focus on local products was great.

Eating breakfast in the beautiful surrounds was a highlight, and our kids enjoyed having space to explore. Keith is an excellent host.

Good staff, helpful and pleasant. Nice grounds, fruit trees, like a clearing in the rainforest. Kitchen facilities for guest use and a barbeque. Lots of places to relax and sit. Friendly atmosphere.

A beautiful place still run by the man who made this magic happen. There is a book in the cabin which shows the creation of this fabulous place. There is a sense of warmth and humour abounding and the view of the mountain is lovely. We stayed in the Queenslander train and would choose it again for the deck on the back of it, the wooden floors, the privacy and atmosphere. The whole experience was special.
