Hostel Overview

Set a 10-minute walk from Gjøvik town centre, Gjøvik Hovdetun Hostel offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi access. The Fastland recreational grounds are right next to the hostel.

Fully equipped rustic cabins with plenty of comfy beds for a familly of 6, close to a lot of facilities (ski slopes, pool, tennis court, etc.)

Warm and cosy cottage! Very good for the purpose of my visit. Made full use of the kitchen. Lovely breakfast and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

The staff are relentlessly cheerful and helpful. Excellent breakfast, all you can eat every morning. Kitchen facilities and laundry facilities are available. It is not far from the centre of town, with gorgeous views.

The cabin where I stayed (studio room) was very cute and had just what I needed for a couple of days. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was good😊

Breakfast and staff were fantastic, room was very basic and very warm so had to borrow a fan from reception, we had a room with two bunk beds and a shared bathroom as we booked late so no choice, next time will book with an en suite as didn’t like sharing bathroom.
