The terrace and its view over the town and castle are fantastic. Our room opened on to the terrace so was also great. It was very clean and the large bed was comfortable. Maria was friendly and communicated with us through translation and smiles.

Stunning views from the apartment and a truly lovely host Maria. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. The apartment is high up the hill which was definitely a climb, but it's doable and shouldn't put you off booking.

Maria is just one of the best, friendliest, heartwarming hosts I have ever met. The location of the guest house is perfect for everything there is to see and do in Gjirokastra. Maria is so helpful with everything and she welcomed us like family members coming home from a long journey. Thank you so much!

Maria welcomed us like we were family, and she had even put a candle, petals and two glasses of wine in our room to help celebrate our honeymoon. The views from the terrace were amazing, you can see all of the old town and there are great views of the fortress too. We really enjoyed spending our evening here with a beer and the amazing views. Despite the property being so high up, it is only a short walk to the main streets in old town (perhaps only a 5 min walk). Thank you so much Maria!

Maria is so kind, we really felt at home. The guest house is nice, there is a very clean common area with a kitchen and a sofa. The terrace has an amazing view on the city and the fortress. Breakfast was good. It is 5min away from the city center yet you need to be ready to climb back as the house is located up in the hill.
