The hotel was in the Gjirokastra Bazaar, very convenient location to walk around the Bazaar and its bars and restaurants. Very clean room, very helpful customer service. For the parking consider in the city parking underground as its only 3 mins on foot.

I loved everything about my stay at Kalemi 2. It's a very charming hotel, which was built as a family house around 200 years ago. The castle view from the room was amazing. The receptionist was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. Location was perfect, and breakfast--delicious.

Beautiful restored building, incredibly friendly staff, stunning views from the rooftop terrace, amazing breakfast in the gardens again with Castle views. Good shutters to keep out a bit of music noise ( the town was celebrating 17 years of UNESCO world heritage status).

A true boutique hotel. Atmospheric with traditional features but modern bathrooms so a great combination. We met Dragon the owner who was charming, helpful and so enthusiastic.

What a fabulous hotel: beautiful outside and inside; the rooms were beautifully decorated, the beds mega comfortable, We had one of best view in our whole stay in Albania: who can have a bath with a view on an illuminated castle! Stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; we booked the junior room the first night but it was noisy as on the first floor right above some bars; so the second night we were moved to another which was super quiet with outstanding views. Breakfast was really good. A shame it was raining as we coudlnt enjoy having breakfast on the great terrasse. But as everything is beautiful as soon as you walk outside, it wasnt such a big deal. Their restaurant is delicious too.

Be prepared to drive on very narrow and steep roads for the last mile to the property Do not follow the GPS but the sign on the left hand side of the main road
