The owner is a very nice old Lady. She is very kind she has a warm heart. She called me and kindly asked when i would arrive and if i could find the way. The lady greeted me at the entrance gate and offered me traditional coffee. Btw...I'm an Albanian and a real Albanian loves good traditional turkish coffee! The apartment was very clean, very tidy and very spacious! There was even a hairdryer! The apartment is run by the owners, an elderly couple. This couple was very warm and very friendly. The gate to the house has the house number "912"! When you look for the house, pay attention to the house number!!! There are many guest houses on this rocky road and almost all the houses don't have a house number. But this wonderful guest house has a house number. This is by far the best thing i saw in Gyrokaster. By far the friendliest hostess in 20 years! It's about a 5-7 minute walk to the old town of Gyrokaster! Last but not least...the view from apartment 912 is beautiful with free healthy mountain air.

I stayed one night in October 2024 at this property. Central location, but still an uphill walk to the main tourist area. Nice view on the castle from the big room. Comfortable bed, warm shower. Great communication with the (remote) owner through Whatsapp. Fine WiFi.

Amazing location and traditional house. Best place and view with garden . Highly recommended. Lovely old couple running the property, very polite and helpful. Recommended for family , couples and even solo travelers .was also given home grown pomegranates by the lovely host.

A cosy, room with a very comfy firm mattress. Great view of castle from room and from the little, shared outside terrace. Fridge and cutlery etc were useful, as was hairdryer. Lovely hosts. Best of all was location, a 10 min walk up to old bazaar area and with free parking v close. We stayed in 3 different accommodations in Girokaster and this was definitely our favourite.

The stay was really pleasant for us. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk to the Old Bazar. The room is spacious and clean. The beds were the best we've had in Albania. I would stay here again if in Gjiro. The view on the castle in the night was spectacular.

The location was perfect next to the old town on a cobbled street. The hosts didn’t speak English but they were very helpful and attentive. Even gave us some watermelon on our first morning there.

Very good location to the Old Town. Kind, friendly host. The bed is very comfortable, firm mattress, which I prefer. The apartment was very clean. The bathroom is a bit basic, but did the job. There's air-conditioning, large fridge and freezer. The garden is beautiful, outside the apartment there's table and chairs. The road to the property is a bit steep. We didn't have big luggages, so it was fine.
