This apartment is a super brilliant find. Its right in the middle of town, yet tucked behind the restaurants and shops. Its on the ground floor, with just a few steps to get up to the entrance. It is a really big apartment, more like someones house. The living area is huge and comfortable with its own air conditioning system. the master bedroom has block out curtains and is own air con. Very comfortable bed with good pillows. The second bedroom with the two single beds is roomy and also air conditioned. All linen, including towels were lovely. Lots of hot water. Everything you can imagine was provided, to ensure you can cook your own meals. The kitchen was super supplied with plenty of pots and pans and cutlery and crockery and a coffee machine. Supermarket was just down the street (although it is quite a small one up in the old town, it had all we needed for breakfasts). Walk out the front and you are on one of the four main streets of restaurants and shops. We stayed here for four nights and felt like we were at home. It was just so comfortable and so well supplied. The host was brilliant and very responsive and helped us organise a ride across the border into Greece and down to Ioannina.

The perfect location in the old town, easy access to the property and very interesting owners, who arranged the trip and transfers for us. We were lucky to meet the host and stay in this apartment.

Ballo apartaments is located in a very central area of Gjirokaster, we visited during the folkloric festival, and the whole city was full of people and very alive. The apartament is comfortable, spacious, clean, perfect for four people. The view from the bedrooms is amazing there is also a small balcony to rest. The area is full of bars and traditional restaurans. The host was really kind helpful.
