Location is pretty great, right next to the tourist streets leading up to Kiyomizudera and just a short while from Kyoto station. The facilities are all clean, tatami room was a nice experience, and bathroom was also clean albeit a little cramped for both toilet and shower. Staff received us, instructed us on check-in, and helped take our stuff up. There's no elevator but thankfully our room was on the second floor.

The location of the property was excellent, as it was just around from the Gion district, and about 18 mins walk to Kiyomizudera. The bus stop was literally just outside the door, which made it easy to drag our luggage. The host connected early with us, to inform us that they would be meeting us to supply all the checking in details. The apartment was clean.

The place was as shown in the pictures and the location is a steal.Just in the heart of gion district and walkable to the most famous Kyoto streets and kiyomizu Dera temple. They do have the tiny balcony access and viewing the hokan-ji pagoda in sunrise is a bliss. The bathrooms are okay and the rooms have tatami mats which we loved.

The location was perfect in Gion. The hosts were very accommodating and was super easy to check in and out. We had a kitchenette and plenty of space.
