I highly recommend this guesthouse. Here you will feel like a welcome guest with warm waffles or vegetable soup if you arrive in the evening. Good breakfast, wonderful evening in the hot tub. Lots of walking opportunities. Really recommend.🙂

A wonderful welcome from the host, who kindly offered coffee, tea, and even waffles upon check-in! The place is beautiful and spotlessly clean, reflecting the culture of Icelanders. The surroundings are stunning, perfect for a walk and catching a breathtaking sunrise!

Great ancient house and great host! He offered us tea and waffle and a fine dinner with a variety of soups. Nice homemade icelandic breakfast, too.

Such a nice place. Cozy, authentic islandic home and homeowner. He invited all the guests for a dinner, vegetable soup, so we spent a nice evening talking to other travellers. In the morning, he cooked 5 different porridges, waffles, homemade bread.. unbelievable. Such a cool experience

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible host, who made our stay feel like a true home away from home. The fresh and clean linens were a delightful touch, ensuring a comfortable and restful night’s sleep. To our surprise, we were greeted with delicious waffles upon arrival, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. In the evening, the host treated us to a hearty soup with bread. Which was fun sitting on a long table with other international guests and which saved us also from having to go out for dinner – a wonderful perk that allowed us to relax and enjoy the evening in the hottub behind the house without worrying about a meal. Breakfast the next morning was equally delightful, with a variety of porridges and breads to choose from, giving us the perfect start to the day. The host also provided us with excellent tips about the local area, helping us to explore and discover hidden gems that we might have otherwise missed. In short, this stay was a true experience – from the warm hospitality to the thoughtful touches throughout.
