We loved everything about it! The location is great - set in a pretty village. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was lovely and comfortable had everything we needed - including chocolates, bath robes and sleep masks and ear plugs should we need them. We were located above the bar but it wasn’t too noisy. Breakfast was fabulous!!

A lovely inn in the Yorkshire countryside. The facilities were very good, the room clean and comfortable if a bit on the small side. All the little extras like dressing gowns, water, eye masks etc. were most welcome.

The property is beautifully located in a quiet village with excellent parking. The bar/restaurant is excellent and so welcoming with its well chosen furniture and the bedrooms also are well equipped, welcoming and with tea/coffee and snacks available. All in all a fab venue which we have visited several times …. And also dog friendly.

Traditional village pub, great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. Evening dinner menu excellent and breakfast was traditional but with well sourced local meats. Room very large and had all the facilities you needed.

Exceeded expectations massively!… I would have happily payed double!.. lovely traditional pub, spotlessly clean, lovely decor, really very special, antiques and nice pictures , extremely nice. The food is amazing… you must eat here, I had the best Sunday lunch and the breakfast was fabulous! Easy access to all the very best countryside around, some lovely walks and villages. I cannot recommend this place enough…perfect.
