The location was fantastic. You can watch sunrise at breakfast and sunset is only a 15 min walk away.The staff were very helpful - especially Ronnie and Denzel. They were kind enough to upgrade me to a garden room, which was nice and spacious. You can lounge on the beach longers. The pool is nice too. Breakfast was good.

The staff were all really friendly, polite and helpful. The location is perfect right on the beach front. It only took me 5 minutes to walk there from the ferry. I had a superb breakfast and evening meal. On the evening meal it is especially good. You pick your meat seafood and fish. They cook it on a flame BBQ. You also get an unlimited salad bar. I had a tuna steak and a seafood kebab.

Perfect spot Gili T stayed in a private pool room gorgeous outdoor bathroom with big pump bottles of shampoo shower gel etc. your own water bubbler to refill your drink bottle and a good size fridge. Staff very friendly and helpful loved our stay!

Our stay at Scallywags Resort in Gili was good. At first, we were a bit disappointed because, based on the photos and the “ocean view” description, we thought it was right next to the ocean, but there’s actually a street in between. However, after exploring the area, we realized that staying on the main street, near the port, or on the opposite side where the outdoor cinema is located are the best spots. Other areas, especially further inside, seemed darker, less lively, and not as nice. The hotel itself was fine—it had everything we needed. We did see other places that looked better, but they were probably more expensive. In the end, Scallywags met our expectations. The hairdryer wasn’t great, but since everything else was fine, it didn’t make much of a difference. We had a window facing the beach (not a balcony), which was a nice touch. The staff was very kind and helpful. They always responded to our requests and even helped us carry our luggage to the port when we left. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast with the ocean view—it was really good! On our last day, my boyfriend went for breakfast while I stayed back to finish packing, and they kindly packed mine to-go, which I really appreciated. Overall, it’s a good option that meets expectations.

NicI and clean, lovely rooms, great aircon, very friendly staff! Food was good, pool was clean and it was beachside and right in the centre of town. Although it’s a party island and close to bars, we did not hear a thing at night and slept well.

Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Great location on Gili. Good restaurant and spa. Loved the plungepool and outdoor bathroom. The water cooler in the room is great. You can fill up your bottles as often as you like. Saves buying water. Buying anything on the island is expensive!
