The bungalows were perfect: great semi-outdoors bathroom; tranquility, coffee at 7.00am!; the food; attentive, professional, friendly staff- smiles. Great snorkelling, the fish and coral fabulous. Great opportunities to learn to dive and go kyaking. Watching the sunrise everyday from the beach- a three minute walk from my bungalow.

I experienced the Pearl Beach Resort as an exceptionally nature-connected place where I could completely relax. Nestled between a lush hill and an unspoiled coral reef, it's situated on a beautiful beach, protected within a wonderful garden filled with scents, colors, flowers, and birdsong. My hut, constructed almost entirely from natural materials, provided a sense of security and comfort. The staff were friendly and informal, making me feel right at home. I could spend all day in the restaurant, ordering whatever I wanted at fair prices. I felt completely relaxed. "I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking authenticity, appreciating nature, and sensing energy, as I felt this was a magnetic, energetic, and positive place. Walking around the island, I quickly realized I couldn't have found a better place. However, it's important to note that Indonesia, especially during the rainy season, faces a waste management issue. This is not specific to the Island, but it's important mentioning. With fewer tourists, the local waste management situation becomes more challenging. There are ongoing projects to address this, and visitors can choose to get involved. It's a personal decision: more tourists or slightly more waste. I personally have no regrets about my choice."
