The hotel is in an excellent location, in town close to the beach, to all facilities, cafes and restaurents. The staff were very helpful and professional and made my stay pleasant. I happily recommend the Hotel Sam Miguel.

The hotel is located very close to the beach and within walking distance of lots of the city centre. The room was spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed, and maintained a good temperature. Despite being very central there was very little noise - especially on the top floor where I was! The reception staff were very patient with our (very bad) Spanish and made us feel very welcome.

This hotel was a fantastic find! It offered everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Gijón. Location is absolutely perfect! It was super close to everything - the beach, restaurants, shops, sights. I could easily walk everywhere I wanted to go. My room was clean, quiet, and had a comfy bed. Just what you need after a day exploring! This hotel is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a simple, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Gijón.

Fantastic hotel..lovely decor. Room cool without air conditioning. Kettle provided,unusual in spanish hotels/rooms. Really good location..5 mins from seafront,10 mins from old town, vegetarian restaurant almost next door.
