Great location, directly across the street from the botanical garden and the cable car station to the top of the Rock. The hotel is more or less at the centre of Gibraltar so it's convenient for exploring in any direction. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large with a lovely view across Gibraltar Bay to Algeciras, Spain, and on a clear day to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable.

Awsome concierge assited with bags, car parking etc always friendly. Front desk also friendly but sometimes not on the ball. However, on a whole always tried to be helpful. Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds. The room is old fashioned but in keeping with the style and manor of the hotel. Its not for every one but we loved the style. And you get the best view over Morocco and the bay. So get a room with a balcony. Not only is it a suntrap but the sunset is awsome.

I can’t recommend The Rock Hotel in Gibraltar enough! The location is absolutely incredible, offering stunning views that make every moment feel special. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable – the perfect place to stay in Gibraltar. The food was fantastic, and the cocktails were a real highlight – expertly made and delicious. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the impeccable service and incredible staff. Abdullah Ghazi went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during our stay. A special mention to David, who saved the day when a taxi didn’t arrive in the middle of lashing rain, and I was at risk of being late for my wedding. His quick thinking and kindness meant everything to us in that moment. The staff made our trip truly magical. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. If you’re visiting Gibraltar, don’t hesitate to book here – you’ll be in the best hands.

Attentive and friendly staff. Hotel and room lovely and clean. Breakfast was let down a little, there was a great choice but some hot items such as bacon, sausages etc had run out when we arrived and had not been replaced by the time we sat down to eat so limited our choice, also what was available was just warm rather than hot. The hotel is on a steep hill but very easy and cheap to use public transport back and forth to the hotel from the town.

Room was very comfortable and the bed just right. Staff were a credit to the hotel in their helpfulness. The location of the hotel was in a nice quiet part of town with good bus routes. The food was exceptional. I ate there 3 evenings and was highly impressed by all of the dishes I had.

The view as amazing. We only stayed for one night as our flight was delayed. We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. This time there were a lot of faults to be found in allegedly the best room in the Hotel.
