Perfect Boss :-) Accommodation in an interesting location with a view of Taormina and Etna. Unfortunately we were not able to fully enjoy the local cuisine, which looked very tempting. I definitely recommend it!

We have been looking for the perfect location for a long time because we wanted 1) to be close to the sandy beach 2) to have a direct view of the sea 3) to have a beautiful view of Mount Etna 4) to be close to very good and tasty restaurants. 5) We also wanted to be close to Catania airport. All these factors came together at La Sirena. On booking we could read some bad comments about this place, but from the location it seemed that this is bullshit and you really can't find a better place that combines quality and value for money. Also, the hosts are the most polite and open people you could ever meet. They run the restaurant on the ground floor of La Sirena and we must say that the food, especially the pizza, grilled frutti di mare and traditional Sicilian bread, is simply delicious. Their business started in the 50s of the XX century, so it's a bit of history and we'll definitely be back soon. As for the breakfast, it is a traditional continental breakfast with croissants, jam, chocolate, cake, fruit, coffee and juice, so if you are looking for an English breakfast, you will definitely find an English pub nearby :)

Very friendly helpful owner. Nice room, maybe not the best view as it overlooked another grey building to the sea. Bay view better. Coffee/tea-making en suite too. November not the best to judge the location & restaurant closed. Rooftop terrace too as it rained! Nearest restaurant ok tho.

The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Salvo was one of the best hosts we had in Sicily. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. His family was warm and welcoming. We also had a delicious meal with an unforgettable live music performance in the downstairs restaurant.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice modern look. We also had a lovely view of the water. Our hosts were exceptional, so kind and welcoming and always there to help if we needed anything at all. Breakfast was provided every morning & was delicious. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

We enjoyed an absolutely beautiful and carefully decorated room with a great view over the bay and the mountains. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfy and the linen of good quality. The people running the place are absolutely sweet and friendly. The fact that the Hotel is kind of on the end of the beach strip makes it so that you are everywhere in a minute but you won't be overwhelmed by the many tourists frequenting the beach and bordering restaurants/bars.

Nice delicate and clean rooms. Our room had a beautiful view towards Taormina and the harbour. It also had a balcony. Aircondition, and tea/coffee pentry. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and the food was excellent. The staff were very helpful and at our service all the time. Beach close by on the other side og the street, and about 15 min drive up to Taormina.
