We go to this hotel often, maybe over the last 10 years, as it is at a convenient stopping off place for going further south, the owners are very welcoming, the food is great, and the location on the Loire is ideal.

Nice hotel, friendly hosts. The rooms were large enough and with the very hot temperatures we could especially appreciate the air conditioning. Even though we travelled by car this time, I'd mention as a plus that there is a room to safely store bicycles.

We love the family-based owner/management of this hotel, and know we can rely on it, so we book it when we are passing through the region, and we recommend it to friends. We like its 'old-fashioned' style. The home-cooked dinner is delicious and good value. Enclosed parking is a bonus. The village has an interesting history, a beautiful Carolingian oratory church and a new 'green' strolling route, with a friendly local tourist office, good for the Chateau de Sully and the fascinating Pont-Canal at Briare.
