The lady was very kind and helpful, even gave us a small gift and clean towels throughout. The place was quiet, cozy and clean, with a nice view and in an excellent location.

Casa da Avo is a comfortable and very roomy apartment just a short stroll from the center of Gerês. The view from the balcony over the valley is just breathtaking. You have so much space there and the whole apartment is equipped with everything you could wish for after a long day of hiking or swimming in the lake. We felt extremely comfortable and just loved how quiet and relaxing the whole area was. Cooking in the kitchen was quite fun, because it had everything you might need (including a big stove). Daniela, the host, was so nice and kind to us, she brought us pastries and self-made honey and always made sure everything was perfect. Thank you!
