The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, the Penang State Government will be imposing a local government fee of MYR 2 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check-in.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The hotel's location is fantastic - walking distance from many of the attractions in Georgetown. The staff were friendly and replenished empty shampoo bottles etc. when housekeeping came to tidy up.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing service! The hotel location is great, walking distance to all tourist spots and eateries. It's a great place to stay and watch the new year fireworks without fighting with the crowd in bars to get a view of the KOMTAR fireworks . There is an amazing view of KOMTAR fireworks from the parking lot.

The location is absolutely great and convenient, easy to arrive the most popular spots. The room itself is not so big, but the air and natural wind is cool enough that I don't feel like to turn on the air-con. The staff is wiling to help and friendly.

We loved its history - well set out in old photos and posters. Its location is perfect - near lots of good restaurants- including a terrific Hainan chicken rice place. And it has a pool.

We had a great stay in a beautiful hotel. The staff were great and so helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of offerings. Lots of areas to sit and relax and soak up the atmosphere.
