The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. In line with the Malaysia government’s decision to implement Sales and Service Tax (SST) of 6% effective 1st January 2022, this tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in.
Guest must present the same credit card used to guarantee the booking when checking in / making payment at the hotel, hotel will not accept any third party credit card.

The hotel looks awesome.Truely vintage.My room was upgraded to Executive Suites with balcony overlooking the sea.Room is very clean and spotless.Kudos to house keeping.Room interior is superb.Very good value for money.

The hotel is located very close to the sights of the UNESCO World Heritage site. We also liked the saltwater pool.

Lovely heritage building on the fringe of the heritage area so that you are close to it but with generally more space and less crowds. Large rooms. Eventhough there is aging but it is generally well maintained. The buffet breakfast is extensive- the roti canai station was great! There is even a pool with small jaccuzi. Its very good value for money. Rooms are quiet at night. There is parking onsite. Have stayed multiple times over the years.

A great old fashioned heritage hotel. The staff were attentive and fabulous. Room was huge with balcony and pool view. Breakfast was really good with so much choice. Easy walk to hotel from the ferry port. Location was excellent, easy walk to the heritage streets of Penang. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in a very central location, close to all emenities and restaurants. It's very spacious as well, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of food. The staff was very helpful.

Breakfast has a nice selection. Spacious property. Helpful employees. Universal plugs in room helpful. Even the room was dated, they use bed sheets and towels that are quite new.
