Set in a restored private mansion, East Indies Mansion is located in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town. Inspired by Chinese shophouses, the property features a large courtyard and classic wall ornaments. Free WiFi is accessible throughout.
Fitted with traditional wooden furniture, each room is air-conditioned and warmly lit. Certain rooms come with loft or duplex layout. The bathroom is furnished with free toiletries and a shower.

Located at 1st floor the suite offer high ceiling while louvered shutter windows kept out the glaring sunlight but allowed the cool breeze in. Sound proofed by solid ornate wood doors.

Measuring a generous 50 sqm at 1st floor with high ceiling from the original structure encompass the characteristics of Chinese architecture. Please note that this room are without window.

This suite has a balcony, sofa and air conditioning. Accessible only by stairs, the room is located on the first floor. The room feature a unique layout with second bedroom on the loft and a generous living area. It offer perfect privacy with sound proofed from the concrete terracotta flooring.

This suite has air conditioning, electric kettle and seating area. Two units of double story family suite interconnected with its very own unique spiral staircase with attached bathroom (upstairs) and connected with a spacious private living hall. The room features lofty high ceilings and perfect privacy with no next room neighbour.

The history and culture associated with the Mansion in association with the surroundings gave a wonderful atmosphere for the stay in Georgetown. It was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the usual hotel environments.

Fantastic location in the middle of little India. We stayed in clove 1 and 2 which were a great size for travelling with kids. Lots of lovely touches including free snacks and treats in the room each evening.
