The fine print

We loved staying here, it has a very charming vibe and the rooms are traditional but quite comfortable. We loved the warm hospitality and the location is just perfect. Would definitely visit again.

Good location close to everything and the property has quirky decor which we liked. There is water, tea, coffee etc available all day. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Clean.

We loved the way Cintra House had been lovingly restored. It is well located, close to food and transit. It was a breeze to walk to many sites or walk around the corner to catch a Rapid Penang bus, and find many great places to eat. The bathroom was clean, and the toiletries pleasant. (I wish there were separate body wash and shampoo, however) We enjoyed our breakfasts at Cintra, they were very tasty and prepared us for our busy days. What was wonderful was the all-day tea and coffee as well as juice, and banana bread. (Chef's kiss). There was a water bottle refilling station available, too, a necessity in the tropical heat. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they made our stay an absolute pleasure.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the building was in keeping with the heritage style of the are, which was lovely. The staff were very friendly. The free filtered water and coffee / tea / cake were all very much appreciated.

A truly exceptional stay! This boutique hotel is full of old-world charm, with beautifully preserved heritage features and elegant dark wood furnishings. The warm welcome from Tia and the team made all the difference—such outstanding service! Breakfast was always served with a smile, and the all-day tea and coffee were a lovely touch. A perfect blend of history, comfort, and hospitality … I extended my stay for 3 days. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!

All the staff were really friendly and warm. It felt like we were all a family. They were also really accommodating to my mum’s request especially during breakfast. Great hospitality and location, kimberley street food night market is just down the street as well! And Borneo massage parlour across the street is also really good! The accommodation might not seem much but the people there really make you feel warm and welcomed!

This place is totally the best for the price we pay! Its location is perfect. Near to lots of restaurant, 7eleven, family mart.n lots of attractions within walking distance to this place. The room is clean n comfy. They even provide breakfast and water dispenser. Mr Zul, the owner of this place is also very nice n friendly. Highly recommend place to stay in Penang!
