We had a two bed apartment on the top floor with a balcony that had view’s of the mountains. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly. It was very centrally located in the old town. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We had no kettle in room but on request we were given one.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, and they let us keep our extra luggage there before/after checkout for hiking. That made out plans much easier. Clean rooms, and they were large. Super location as well.

Location was pretty good, in middle of the old street and in front of pretty looking church and neighborhood. House is first built in 1300, this is pretty awesome. Breakfast is good.

The staff was extremely accommodating, considering I speak zero German and my wife is only slightly better. The location in the old part of town was exactly what we wanted. You can walk anywhere in 20 min. And we loved the breakfast, meats Breads, fruit and yogurt. The restaurant for dinner in the evening or just a beer and a pretzel was wonderful as well.

What a lovely stay! Barbara the host greeted us with a big smile on arrival, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The guesthouse itself is situated in probably the most picturesque part of town, there are lovely little shops, bars and restaurants all around, and it faces a lovely old church, the church bells really added to the atmosphere. Our rooms (we booked 2 doubles), were like little studios really, the bedding was so comfortable I actually took photos so that I can try to purchase these for home! Pretty alpine curtains in the windows and a table with 2 chairs. Good sized bathroom, everything was very clean and the temperature in the room was perfect too. The hotel plays traditional Bavarian music quietly on the radio in the main reception area, and the reception and eating area all decorated in traditional style. The breakfast was lovely too - I’m vegetarian and I didn’t struggle at all as there was plentiful choice: different cheeses, fresh tomatoes, salad, watermelon, eggs, yoghurt, toast, cereal…plus a variety of ham for meat eaters. A lovely added bonus was that when we stayed a traditional Bavarian dance society were practicing in the room at the back of the hotel and we were able to watch this - magical. Stay here for a truly authentic Bavarian experience and hospitality, you will not regret it. One thing to be mindful of: take some euros with you as the tourist tax of 3 euros each is paid by cash only (there’s a cashpoint at the end of the street).

Lovely traditional German guest house, brilliant staff our flight got delayed so didn’t arrive until 2am and staff kept in touch and stayed late to let us check in.
