The view is amazing over looking the harbour. Sunsets over the ocean while in the pool is blissfull. Playfull dog and beautiful cat. very personable staff, namely Agnus as head of house, and Dave the owner is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The couple that owned the lodge were so friendly and accommodating. They recommended many fun things to do around the area. They even gave us a free breakfast. An amazing experience!

My stay at Saxon Lodge was fantastic! The location offers beautiful ocean views and is just a 5-minute drive from the shark cage diving launch site, making it perfect for anyone doing the diving. The lodge is cozy, well-maintained, and has a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were welcoming and provided excellent local recommendations. A perfect spot for anyone visiting Gansbaai—highly recommended!
