The fine print
Property asks for every guest to provide valid photo ID featuring date of birth on arrival.For group bookings of 4 people or more, full payment may be requested up to7 - 14 days in advance of arrival. . For these group bookings, a fully refundable security cash deposit of EUR 25 per person may be required. For apartments, this may be a cash deposit of EUR 200. This will be returned on the day of departure once all house rules are abided by.Please note that guests aged 0–18 years are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms.When booking 4 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.Property asks for every guest to provide valid photo ID featuring date of birth on arrival. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Galway, walking distance from everything. It was really warm and comfortable

So this is a hostel alright but it is affordable and nice and brekkie is decent! I also stayed in all hostels in Galway as a frequent visitor and have to say that this is the best one and much better than the overpriced ones. So if you are planning to stay in a hostel - this is your best option in Galway!

Really nice cool little hostel, well located in Galway. Very helpful staff was able to reserve lower bunk beds. nice kitchen with hot drinks available and complimentary breakfast. Lounge was really nice for reading, working or having your meal.

Great location. Friendly staff. Stayed in a private room with friends and beds very comfy! Quiet and peaceful. Good value for money for a short stay. Kitchen facilities good and plenty of room to sit.
