Ambiance is fantastic, great value for money, ask about the front facing rooms with veranda for a great view out of Gallup, also try and stay in main building, I stayed in basic room, all are star teamed (Mine was Betty Grable), great attention to detail, with great features like the do not disturb tassel, and Betty Grable on the shower curtain ! Traditional lift with manual doors and fabulous brass internal gate.

The El Rancho is full of history. You can dive right into the time of the great Western movie. The staff can tell you a lot about the property and the famous people who stayed here. The lobby with the big fireplace is as cozy as it gets - a great place to have an apertivo and read a book until late in the evening.

I loved our stay at El Rancho, such a cool vibe in the hotel hall, and the room was pretty big and nice as well. We stayed in the main building (not the motel), and it was perfect for our 1 night stay, we'd have liked to stay more. The restaurant was not exceptional but still good.

A legendary hotel steeped in movie history. Fascinating to stay at El Rancho and much enjoyed. Room in the annexe was quirky and comfortable and easy to park. Breakfast (not included) in the cafe/restaurant was good. Great location for travelling on to Flagstaff or Albuquerque. Great gift shop.

There is no doubt that this hotel is committed to its authenticity. The foyer area and upstairs balcony give off a wonderful Western movie ambiance. You genuinely feel like you have stepped back in time. Our room was also nicely decorated along the same theme with various accoutrements on the walls etc Staff were friendly and helpful throughout
