Lovely location, close but not too close to Galle. Beautiful views of the lake, lovely pool and space to hang around. Juices and tea coffee etc made if you ask.

Windy Garden was a perfect balance for visiting Galle. It was close enough to the city to be able to travel in easily and see everything whilst being nicely out the way enough to not feel like a city stay. The pool area was really nice and we even saw monkeys! The family and staff running the place were fantastic - always very attentive and helpful whenever needed. Breakfast exceeded expectations and was more than enough for the day. Windy Garden is fantastic value for money for anybody on a budget looking to visit Galle whilst not staying in the city.

Wonderful hidden gem. The staff are just amazing, so friendly and caring. The pool is beautiful and clean. The hotel is 5 minutes in a tuk tuk from Galle fort, and 2 minutes from the viewpoint for an amazing sunset. The fireflies in the gardens were also a highlight. The food was brilliant. The breakfast was huge! Definitely have the egg hoppers. We had dinner, and this was also really good. Prices are very reasonable, and beers by the pool are very cheap!

Good value. The family were helpful and kind. Decent sized room. Pool was clean, but I didn't end up using it A small breakfast was included which was nice.

Almost everything was great! The staff was super friendly, polite and helpful. Our room was super clean, spacious and stylish. The view from the balcony was amazing - squirrels, birds, monkeys, a pool and a lake. The pool is really nice to cool down before going to sleep. Breakfast is another highlight of this place. Plenty of tasty food was provided and the dining area is tranquil.

Everything was perfect, location, accommodation, surroundings and the food. On the top, the staff is super nice and helpful, especially Sakithya who made my stay even better. Strongly recommended!

Lovely warm welcome from the hostess. I felt looked after. Room was very comfortable and clean. Nice pillows and bed covered with a good mosquito net. Big bathroom. Good location- just a short tuktuk ride to the fort for the main tourist sights and restaurants, or train station for your next journey. I used PickMe app and it was only 200rp compared to 500rp that tuktuks demand in the street. I didn’t try the restaurant food but it looked good value with lots of options. They did prepare a simple but nice food package for my early morning checkout.

the staff, the owner of the guesthouse and his son were both very nice, it was a pleasure to get to know them and spend some time in that beautiful place. I recommend it to everyone :)
