We had an incredible stay at Villa Ema. We booked the entire villa, and we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the property. The owner and his wife were extremely friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the freedom we had to play our own music and use the kitchen facilities. We also made use of the BBQ grill, which was available free of charge. The villa was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The villa does not have a pool, but makes up for it, as the beach is walking distance from the villa. Overall, we highly recommend Villa Ema for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming accommodation in the area. We are grateful for the hospitality of the owner and his wife, and we hope to visit again in the future.

For a very fair price a night, you offer not only a place to stay, but a piece of heaven. The heavenly breakfasts, yoga on the beach, Ayurvedic wisdom, and soul-nourishing energy — you gave us everything and more. You created a safe and nurturing environment for us as women, allowing us to talk openly about our fears, struggles, and dreams. You treated our needs as top priority, always with love and care, and made us feel like part of your family from the moment we arrived. The way you protect and care for your village, your team, and your guests is truly inspiring, and your commitment to giving back to the community speaks volumes. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, the extras you provided, the drives to places we needed, and your unwavering support. For the three days of joy, healing, and release from sadness, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You helped us reconnect with our truest selves, on the other side of the world and just the beginning of our trip with authenticity and truth. More than a hotel, Villa Ema is a holistic heaven on earth and an extended family. The rooms are clean and with aircon, food is amazing and the place is super safe! Kitchen it’s very well equipped so it’s important for me.I can prepare my favourite coffee tea or simple meal. Location it’s very good bcs you have a 10-15 min drive by tuk tuk to amazing Fort Galle

It was a lovely property, quite unexpected for the area as we later figured. It was so green and spacious! Sitara and Asintha are amazing people and was great to live in their house. The house is built so beautifully and planned so well, the aesthetics made it like a home away from home. Sitara’a mum made us lovely homemade meals that were a treat to senses:) The staff was kind and helpful. Was travelling with senior citizens and the property did everything to make them comfortable.

I like everything about my stay here. The staff were so helpful and available via WhatsApp at all time to help and make my stay as comfy and convenient as possible. The place is beautiful and just a 5 minute walk to bara beach. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Very modern and high designed house with a lovely and incredible garden. The staff and the family was so lovely and super friendly. They helped us a lot and took very good care of us.

Wow, wow, wow this is probably the best property we have ever been to. The house looks like the cover of architecture magazine. As soon as we stepped foot into this building, we instantly extended our stay there. The staff and especially the host were so nice and tried helping with everything. If you want a clean and modern apartment to recover from the busy city, this is the place for you

We were guests at Villa Ema for a week and it was difficult to leave. The villa is beautiful and gives you the feeling of being on holiday but at the same time a bit of home. We don't need to talk about the cleanliness - everything 10/10 and the service too. Every morning there is an insanely great authentic breakfast prepared by the grandmother. The family that manages this accommodation is just great, lovely and they turn every wish into reality. I even got a birthday present at the end. It was a wonderful holiday that I won't forget, we are very grateful for this hospitality and will definitely be back!
