The location of this hotel was perfect. You could walk out of the area and be close to the lighthouse, walk along the walled fort, and access restaurants and shopping. The staff were all super nice and accommodating. The flowered area between the rooms and the dining was very nice, and the flowering trees smelled amazing. The room was comfortable, and the covered common area outside the room was nice to have. It wasn't private, but it was nice to be out of the room.

Location very central to Museum , shops and restaurants. Property was Old style charm with modern Bathrooms. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of local and western foods. Chef came personally to see if we had any questions. Staff were quick to respond to anything that we needed. They had a Spa and had the complimentary 10 min foot massage.

The setting, the beauty of the hotel itself, its location within the old Galle Fort zone, which was matched only by the quality of the service. Special mention must go to Suneth who took personal responsibility for ensuring our stay met and then exceeded our expectations. He then organised for our complementary transfer to Tangalle after some scheduling adjustments and later reconnected with us to assist with further transfers further into our Sri Lanka trip. Above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Suneth.

Nothing extraordinary. Breakfast was very basic. The room rate is quite expensive. Sure you can and should improve the Breakfast quality

The staff here are exemplary. If you stay here you know you are in safe hands. We accidentally left our passports in our hotel back in Colombo and the Suneth the resident manager sorted everything out for us and we had them back the next morning. He went above and beyond in customer care. Beautiful suite, comfortable beds and a great breakfast where the staff were also kind and courteous. We will book to stay here when next in Galle.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a beautiful building and very historic. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was right in the middle of the fort with nowhere more than a 5 minute walk.

Perfect location and great value! Nice staff! Walking distance to everything! Room was not 5 star quality but totally fine! For oceanside lunch try the "old hospital" next door.
