Close to Galle fort area. A great self contained apartment ( although host was so attentive we didn’t need self contained) with the most obliging host. Dam goes out of his way to ensure a perfect stay.

I stayed at Dam's place last week with my friends and he provided excellent hospitality, making us feel right at home. He is a friendly and welcoming individual and he treated us like his daughter. He ensured a smooth start to our evening by dropping us toff at the Galle fort and suggested some nice dining options. Our stay at his place was exceptional, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Galle.

The best thing about the stay was our amazing host Dam! He was endlessly generous, helpful and fun, he went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He gave us a lift into the fort everyday and to the turtle sanctuary, he cooked us an amazing authentic Sri Lankan breakfast every morning and even did us a lovely cooking class one evening after we said we liked kottu, even making it gluten free for us! He treated us like family and made us feel so welcome. He also provided us with welcome drinks and drinking water throughout our stay, and sorted out our transport to Mirissa for us. Everything was very well priced and for the cooking class we were only charged supermarket costs for the ingredients we used which was great. He gave us so much information on the area and was there whenever we needed him. Outside of Dam being so great, the apartment was also lovely, it was spacious and clean, had a washing machine, fridge, hairdryer and kitchen, and the shower was good. He even provided bug spray for us! If we’re ever in Sri Lanka again we will definitely be visiting and we would recommend here to anyone. Thank you so much Dam!! Hopefully see you again Megan, Harriet & Maisie xx

Dam is an incredible host! So knowledgeable and friendly! He will help you out any way he can and really cares for his guests! If you forget shopping, he'll help you cook! Need to get somewhere? He will take you! Exceptional!
