A beautiful castle with a lot of history.Very kind staff and wonderful breakfast.Quiet and peaceful place with a wonderful winery..The rooms are big and you immerse yourself in the Italian idyll of Tuscany.Ideal for couples and families..The rooms in the castle are exceptional - and the bathrooms are unique with double showers and other extras. The two pools are an additional extra for your pleasant anchorage.

perfect location, spectacular settings, magnificent views, great breakfast with wide selection of organic food in gorgeous rooms, nice pool with beautiful views, plenty of convenient and secure parking, bed not huge but large enough to accomodate two people who are not dwarfs, hard-but-not-too-much mattress good to sleep after long cycling days, and (though it may sound funny) a shower with a perfect temperature control (seldom true in hotels)

We loved everything about this property. It was so peaceful and nice change of pace from our busy travels in Italy. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We loved the breakfast, typical Italian home made breakfast - all cold options and the only hot option scrambled eggs. We didn’t use the restaurant and opted for restaurants in the neighbouring streets, which is 5 minutes away. Not many options open every night but none the less, some great food. There are food options further away but as the roads are quite windy, we opted to stay closer.

Beautiful and peaceful location, very spacious and comfortable accommodation for two, with great air con. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool nearest to the castle is lovely, and towels were provided.

Beautiful castle in a beautiful Chianti. We had room inside of the Castle which is unique! We also tried wine tasting and bought few Chianti Classic red wines, we had tour around castle and inside so highly recommend wine tasting tour! Please take also picture with the big bench, I took some breathtaking photos during sunset. We had dinners most of the time in Gaiole city center, you can find many Osteria there with delicious food and wine
