The welcome by the owner, spacious room with seaview, great breakfast. quiet sleep, central location, many restaurants. We stayed 6 nights. If in, Madeira we will book again.

This is the perfect room/guesthouse I was looking for to fully relax and enjoy my holiday. The location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby and within walking distance of the city center. The room is amazing, and I particularly love the stunning full sea view from the balcony. The staff are very nice and helpful, especially in assisting me with an early check-in.

As a female solo traveller it felt perfect. It was a central location next to an amazing swim spot, meaning it was easy to catch buses to hikes and then come back for a dip. I really loved this place, it had the comforts of a hotel but with the warmth of staying at someone's home. The American lady who owned it was so warm and friendly. It was great coming back from a day out on the trails to have a chat with her and share stories. I really loved that there's a communal breakfast too to meet others - just sad it was too late and I set off before it began most mornings!

Beautiful place with a lovely breakfast served at a large table, offering a unique opportunity to get to know the other guests. The excellent breakfast is prepared and served by the delightful hostess, Grace. We will definitely come again!

Good and cosy athmosphere in historical apartment in old town with view to sea, mountain and city. Easy startingpoint for walkings, bustrips and for swiming in the sea. Fine breakfast hosted by Madam Grace who was helpful in all possibly guestions.

very cosy and friendly. Breakfast very complete and flexible, at your convenience. Always good tips when necessary. Nice morning talks. Much better than an impersonal hotel.

Excellent location, really relaxed and chilled property,,, felt really welcomed and would definitely stay again . Great for location as walking distance to everything, A little noisy in the area on weekend nights but to be expected for the location, Great base for exploring for a reasonable price
