This hotel was absolutely perfect!!! Dreamy apartments right in the center of Funchal, featuring a rooftop bar and pool, a restaurant, lovely view of the harbor, garage parking. The concept of leaving fresh croissants on your door handle every morning is more than enough. You’ll get tips and links to the best restaurants in Funchal that you simply must visit, hiking trails across the island, and live weather webcams. And if you meet Sid and there’s a cocktail party on the rooftop, be cautious and say hi to him from us 🥳 😂♥️.

Brilliant apartment, well equipped and in an excellent location for the sea, central Funchal and Old town. Very friendly staff who help with anything and everything. Amazing views from rooftop bar and superb cocktails.

The apartment/hotel was above and beyond what we expected. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Sidonio (Sid) who showed us around the hotel and roof terrace. He also kindly gave us a list of his favourite places to visit in Madeira and was very helpful with any queries we had. Absolutely a credit to Three house hotel! As were the bar staff who were all wonderful too. Very helpful and friendly! Big shout out to Augusto, Cevada & Diana and all the other staff whose names we didn’t know! The restaurant was also fantastic with great food and service and the same friendliness that we found from all the staff at Three house! Andrea & Janina (we think that’s how her named was pronounced) who were super helpful with places to visit too! Thank you to everyone for making our 3 week stay so enjoyable!!

Great location in the centre of Funchal. Friendly staff, rooms were fantastic (great size, really clean). Coffee and tea in the room was nice. Lovely pool on the rooftop. Comfortable. Felt safe as a solo traveller.

The staff was very accommodating and caring. We took up the advise for a 4x4 trip (not the usual ones) and very much enjoyed the day trip. Apartment was clean and even better than expected, with all in walking distance.

Amazing location in Funchal. So close to everything. The property is great, and the staff was super helpful and courteous. They helped us plan our trip and things to do in Funchal on the go and are very responsive. They have thought of everything and so many little touches, from the delicious croissants in the morning, to the chocolate. The rooftop area is great (with free popcorn!). I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to because Sid and team went the extra mile!

Perfect location, beautiful rooms and view, great rooftop terrace and the view from there… and the staff exceeded any expectations, Margarida and Sidónio went above and beyond to help us figure out what not to miss in our 7 days in Madeira, and even organized the rental car delivered to the hotel :) many thanks for such a wonderful experience!
