The room was big and airy with the balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. Cleaned every day to very high standard. Staff were friendly and very helpful at all times. Breakfast was incredible.

In good situation high above Funchal town .The property has extensive well planted and maintained gardens that you can wander around at ease . A well situated swimming pool that was heated .

Quinta Jardins do Lago is a haven of tranquillity in a busy city. The gardens are simply beautiful. There is a lovely pool, wonderful staff and comfortable rooms. What's not to like?

The hotel facilities were very good,together with excellent pool and gardens. Breakfasts were always a time to indulge. .

Lovely big room with balcony . The hotel has only 40 rooms do felt more like a private house . Beautiful gardens, super pool.. Was sad to leave 😞

Beautiful pool, although I didn’t swim. Room splendid, though separate shower would have made it perfect. Breakfast outside was the very best, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, cold meats, cheese, delicious breads, cakes and still more fruits. Also a wide variety of hot dishes with eggs, smoked salmon, pancakes and even porridge. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
