The staff were exceptional to a person. Friendly, informative and helpful when needed. The hotel has a very peaceful, colonial feel to it; a haven of peace.

The hotel offers a stunning view, which is definately its highlight. It's surrended by the garden, which is beautiful, but needs a little more care.The staff was very helpful. During the breakfast you can order eggs prepared especially for you, which is good alternative to bufet served dishes.

The facilities were excellent, but what truly stood out for us was the staff. Everyone was exceptional—helpful, attentive, and always in good spirits. The pool was well-maintained, with towels and deckchairs readily available at any time of day. We also had access to the sauna. The hotel is situated away from the town center, making it peaceful and quiet. We loved the garden as well!

It is a nicely located in a garden of previous quinta that serves as a la carte restaurant and bar. Quinta is the most memorable structure in the property. Furnished with old furniture and feels like an old house. Staff is nice and friendly. Rooms are spacious. Ours had gorgeous view over garden, Funchal and cliffs beyond with sunrise.

The hotel has a beautiful garden which stretches all around the property. Very well maintained with lots of different plants, trees and flowers. The swimming pool is also surrounded by nature and ends with a nice view over the sea. The bar by the pool is a pleasant spot to have a drink. Overall it looks really nice from the outside. It is also very quiet. Good place to relax. Bonus point for the lovely cat called Blackie.
