A great location - about a 15 minute walk into the center of Funchal and great views from the apartment. Watching the NYE cruise ships coming in and the great firework display was an added bonus.

Location was in easy reach of a large number of restaurants & shops. Views over the bay & harbour were great to wake up to.

Teresa was there awaiting our arrival from the airport transferred to the property by the driver named Bety that she pre-arranged and there was no charge! WOW. I really appreciated that and it was a great beginning. The location of the property in Funchal is perfect and the views from the bedroom and living room/dining room were truly breathtaking. We were positioned perfectly in the city allowing for us to use a bus or mostly, walk to all of the sights including a natural lava pool Lido nearby. It was one of the best rental units we have ever had the privilege of using. So much convenient stores located right at the bottom of the building including a pastry shop, 2 markets and 2 restaurants. This place is truly perfect.

The view from the room is AMAZING! The room itself is very clean and the apartment is located in a perfect spot for guided tour pick ups. We got picked up just outside of the building from the bus stop. The old town is within walking distance and there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby. The host is very helpful and accomodating.
