Breakfast was excellent, they even gave fresh fruit in your room, great attention to detail- even down to the paper flowers on the toilet paper, the view of ocean and mountains was great.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The lunch and dinner buffets were also pretty good if you have kids and don't fancy venturing out some days. The sea view from our 11th floor sea facing balcony was outstanding. The pool area was lovely. Clean and great for the kids. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Very nice view, clean, fruits for welcome, good breakfast. Bus station direct to Funchal centre or airport just near hotel. Restaurants around hotel.

Lovely location overlooking the sea front, with buses across the road going to Funchal. The room is big with a separate living area, with a balcony and wonderful sea views. The pool area was nice with a pool bar - reasonable prices. Breakfast was expansive and nice. On the airport bus route, which is extremely convenient.

We got a great room with a sea view, the hotel grounds are beautiful, the pool was warm. The breakfast has something for everyone.

Great location. Lovely sea view from the 10th floor. The room was great (1010), a very good sized balcony, and a separate lounge area. Good value for money. Not too busy when we stayed in mid June. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had stayed here before and would certainly stay here again. Easy walk into the centre of Funchal, also serviced by numerous regular bus services. The airport bus stop is 1 minute away on foot, €10 return. Loads of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

very bright and nicely done hotel rooms, the staff was very polite and helpful. I especially liked the fact that I was able to work and have calls from my room but also from the cafe area near the library. The breakfast was good and it had loads of options including dairy-free and gluten-free ones. It is very close to a nice walk near the ocean and also a big supermarket.
