Wow! We stayed in one of the superior doubles on the top floor, what a luxurious spot! The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Funchal, it was full of grandeur, felt like a very exclusive place to be, sat overlooking the cathedral on the front terrace. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the staff were all lovely. Very good value for money, would highly recommend

Great central location, with lovely views from the balcony. Walk straight outside to restaurants and cafes, the beautiful cathedral and shops. Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast. The decor is old style but smart and elegant.

Located in the city center of Funchal. Despite being in a very lively neighbourhood, the night was very calm and quiet. Modern and clean bathroom. Very friendly staff!

The location was the best selling feature: centrally located in Funchal, with short walks to all major historical landmarks. While the hotel was a little dated aesthetically, it had all the conveniences and attentive staff to make our stay comfortable and unencumbered.
