This hotel was exactly what I was looking for: comfortable room with a nice view, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, walking distance from restaurants and bars. They also had live music in the hotel which was really nice. Breakfast buffet was good as well.

The location is excellent, staff is super friendly and professional . The were some problems with not comfy mattress and some ants coming from balcony. But the staff reacted very quickly and all problems disappeared 👍. The small gesture but nice gesture : every day they left some compliments like small bottle of Madeira wine or sweets or fresh fruits. Was very nice to find it after challenging hikings. Thank you so much . Highly recommended.

This hotel is a big hotel with facilities of similar hotels (i.e. swimming pool, gym ...), which I didnt use. It is well kept, the rooms are comfortable and the beds seems good, and it offers an incredible breakfast. It seems to aim to be a bit ostentatious and it ilmay be for the majority of its clients, retired couples from Northern Europe on full-package holidays.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Loved the balcony, the view, the cleanliness, and the lovely staff. Breakfast was good with a wide selection and the warm food cooking staff always funny. Would definitely go back when in Madeira

Very good location. A lot of restaurants nearby. Not far from Funchal old town. Shuttle buses from hotel to old town. It was so nice that we were given a plate of fruits or cookies everyday in the room.
