Central location within short down hill walk of the centre of Funchal but quick to get out of Funchal for day trips. The house is very spacious and well equipped. Owner accommodated late checkout for evening flight.

The villa is very easy to find, close to the main road. The property is spacious, with each bedroom with its bathroom. The pool area and barbecue area are a plus+ Great parking area, would fit 3/4 cars easily. We loved it and will be back for sure.

The setup of the villa was great for 7 people, especially as we had a big lounge area, full kitchen and our own ensuite in each room. The pool was perfect for cooling down after long days of walking and hiking. We were a short walk to a great cafe, a few different supermarkets, and lots of restaurants and car hire places. We walked into central Funchal a few times - it took us 25-30 minutes. It is steep to walk back uphill, however there are lots of buses/taxis running in the area, if you need them! It was also good to have a washing machine to use, with washing pods provided.
