Hotel Overview

Located in Lido, just a 5-minute walk from the oceanfront promenade in Funchal, the recently refurbished Allegro Madeira offers 2 restaurants, an outdoor pool, 360º rooftop bar, spa and fitness centre. A public park and promenade are just steps away, as well as Funchal's main touristic avenue.
Featuring private furnished balconies, all rooms have a modern design and are decorated in bright tones. Each has a cable TV and a private bathroom. A complimentary bottle of water is offered upon arrival.

“Good hotel if you want to stay in the Lido Area”

Staff - Mostly efficient but not over-friendly. Just doing their jobs which is fine! Breakfast - Good choice of hot and cold items and various types of coffee from the machines. The juices were all OK apart from the apple juice which tasted as if it had been watered down! Nice touch to have sparkling wine too. The room attendants came in everyday to clean the room and change towels, empty bins etc. We mislaid our room key but was not a problem to replace it at no extra charge for which we were grateful.

It was a very short stay, but every time I chose Allegro in Funchal, it's nice, uncomplicated and comfy! I like the simple style of this hotel, its very enjoyable rooms with terrace and its good location (Lido) in Funchal.
