It was an easy walk from the train station to the house. We arrived late in the afternoon with a bit of rain and full cloud cover, so we had no idea where Mt Fuji was. I had previously read the comments that you get a good view of Mt Fuji from the house. I have to say that's an understatement. When we opened the curtains in the morning, it felt like 10x Christmas mornings all in one moment. I had no idea how close we were to see Mt Fuji. I was expecting to see it on the horizon, but it took up half the window. It was magnificent! The house was fabulous, lots of room, very clean, the beds were comfy. I was worried I'd made a mistake by not staying closer to Kawaguchiko Station, but once we arrived, I was so happy. It was lovely and quiet, we were right next to the Chureito Pagoda so we were among the first to get the views and photos first thing in the morning. Easy to say it was the best Air BNB I've stayed in ever.

We have one day advanced information from Villas owner about the weather change and local events. Therefore we have changed the expectations of the trip and readjust accordingly. The unit is cozy, clean. It equipped with all the necessary amenities required for the stay. It fits well for us with family of 6. We have wonderful time on the spacious dining and living areas. The owner with Japanese communication, is friendly and shared the useful information whatever we asked. It’s highly recommended for group/ family of 6.

Excellent views of Mt Fuji from the accommodation.. Plenty of room for 6 people. 2 toilets is good for 6 people.

Villas Asama no Iori was booked because we wanted accommodation with views of Mount Fuji and it was amazing! They were uninterrupted views from the dining room upstairs as well as one of the downstairs bedrooms, which we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were travelling with 6 family and/or friends and had hired 2 motor vehicles, so the 2 carparks included with the villa were very convenient. The property was located adjacent to Arakurayama Sengen Park, which can be busy throughout the day, but it also provides an opportunity to visit the park and enjoy it further at sunrise and sunset which we did.

I liked the villa itself. It was super comfortable, and I liked that it was close to the train station. I also like the fact that it was close walk to the Chureito Pagoda. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were impeccalbe.

The accomodation is situated within a short walk from Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and Arakurayama Sengen Park, which is ideal if you want to catch the sunrise with Mt Fuji. It is also located away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowd but at the same time accessible if you want to grab a convenient meal in the locality. The accomodation is merticulously maintained and has all that we needed for a short stay, including dedicated parking lots right infront of each unit.
