We cannot recommend this place enough. It had everything we needed and the hosts were amazing and very welcoming. We learned about the history of this place and Fujiyoshida and gained insights into Japan's culture. It was truly authentic experience.

We really enjoyed our stay here and especially the tour of the space and family shrine. It truly made our experience special and we really enjoyed learning about the family and history of the inn/area. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was especially great (clean and had great amenities). We would stay here again!

The tour and history of the property was really cool to know, and I thought it was a really nice and personal touch! We really appreciate the help and recommendations getting around :) There are many helpful pamphlets to point out good places to visit and eat at, which we found more useful than google

On the day of my checking out, it was raining heavily in the (early) morning. I wanted to ask for an old umbrella to walk to the Railway Station, Fujisan. But, the father of owners (three sons) volunteered spontaneously to drop me with his car. A friendly, warm gesture in that cold, misty morning!! 🤗 A warm water bath, a kind of mini sauna, was available (by reservation). One free croissant per customer as well as tea and coffee in the living area.

We were treated to a short history of the house and it's shrine which was amazing. Waking up with the most beautiful view of Mount Fuji and enjoying a hot tea before the cloud settled in was unforgettable, thank you.

Amazing view of Mt Fuji - you literally wake up to it! And upon arrival, we were told the stories and histories of the house and the family which made it even more special. I highly recommend :)

My hubby and I were travelling on our honeymoon and were lucky enough to get the triple room overlooking Mount Fuji. It was honestly spectacular. The futons were also very comfy and clean! We did the 10min tour around the history of the inn and Mt Fuji - would highly recommend! We are definitely planning to stay again when we return to hike Mt Fuji.

The host and his family are very nice, he will guide you through the history of his family and village. The place is so calm as there is not so many rooms The bathroom is very nice I went there to start hiking from there towards Mt Fuji peak The boulangerie across the street is incredible! You get two have a sausage sandwich from there as welcoming present from the host
