We had the best stay here! Yumiko was so welcoming and hospitable. She had everything we needed for our stay and even helped us with our itinerary as well as how to get to different locations in the city. The breakfast was delicious, the view from our room was stunning and we loved waking up and falling asleep to the view of Fuji. It was also so cool to stay in a traditional Japanese home and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Yumiko for such a lovely stay, we hope to visit again soon!

Owner Yumiko is very thoughtful and nice. She helped me a lot in checking the weather, the road status to the Mt Fuji 5th station and communicating with the staff in the mountain hut for me. Very clean and tidy place to stay. Will definitely stay here again for my next visit to Mt Fuji.

Yumiko was very friendly and helpful for the time we stayed. She shared her knowledge with us, taught us some basic Japanese words and gave us advice on where to go in the area. Lovely clean house, easy to get to and has everything you need.

Y., who is the host at the property, if unblieveably nice and attentive. Everything you want she has already thought of and is in fact already ready and waiting for you! She provided fantastic information and recommendations about the area, including climbing Mt Fuji (which we did), local onsens, even getting a haircut! She already had all the timetables for buses and trains printed, and even called ahead to restaurants to ask about dietary restrictions. She showed us how to unlock the door of the house, but we never really needed to because she was always there to greet us when we arrived over a few days. The house itself is immaculate, the room comfortable and private, and the local area is charming. Good air con, and comfortable bedding (we stayed in one of the tatami rooms). Views of the mountain from our own little balcony was amazing. If you would like to step out of the usual hotel experience and get a sense of what it's like to live in a normal Japanese house, this is the property for you.

One of my best choices in Japan. Yumiko is the loveliest person I ever met on the Roundtrip. She gave me a heartly welcome and showed me around her neatly, super-clean house. the view from the balcony is amazing. Yumiko gave me a lot of tipps(where to go to take the best photos, where to go for dinner and something else). I wished I could stay longer. Yumiko, thanks again.

I stayed here with a friend in preparation of climbing Fuji-san, because the house is located very close to the bus stop from where you can take the bus to the 5th station for the Yoshida trail. The host was excellent! She is a local and very experienced in climbing Fuji-san. She gave us a ton of advice on what to eat and bring with us on the climb, how to prevent the altitude sickness, and she even called a friend who works at the mountain hut where we were going to stay to inquire about the weather conditions up there, to let us know what to expect! All in all, a very nice house to stay if you are going to climb Fuji-san.
