The house is a very traditional Japanese house, with tatami rooms, original sliding doors with beautiful ornaments and kotatsu to help warm us up. Location is quite close to the station, although a bit steep. A few options of restaurants to choose from nearby, also only a few hundred meters from a good bike rental place. I would definitely recommend this! Will come back and spend more nights here.

1. The location! Within walking distance to lake and the famous Beef Cutlet restaurant. 2. The traditional Japanese house style. Love that the living room had heated blanket.

very traditional japanese house, nice experience. They have heaters around the house including the bathroom for when it gets really cold in winter time.

Very cosy home. Every room has air conditioning and there were even extra heaters. Super spacious house in a quiet neighbourhood. They even provide cleanser and face wash so it was very nice!

- The location is great, 10 mins walk to the train station. It's in a quiet place but very convenient to get whatever you want ( restaurant, convenience store, supermarket, and very close to the tourist spots) - And if you drive, they also provide a parking space, which is a public parking, free of charge. - The house is spacious, and very traditional Japanese house, that's also what we like. Also, with kitchen, common room, two toliets, and one bath room, and with heating in most of the room.

Really nice authentic Japanese house near the lake. There is a great little bar for drinks right around the corner - Oar Blue - try them out too!

Spacious home for 8 adults (can definitely fit a couple more). Simple villa with wooden floor, very Japanese style minka. Plenty of mattresses. Separate living rooms and kitchen. I love that they have 2 separate toilets and a comfortable size for bathroom and shower (with full size tub). I love that the toilets (although each fits snuggly for one) and the bathroom are super clean and white. Lovely scented body wash with shampoo and condition. Two vanity sinks!

House is solid, has all the right facilities, the decour was amazing, proper traditional feel with the floor futons. And the location in relation to everything is perfect.
