The owner is the nicest person ever. We you arrive you will see a lot of pictures of Mount Fuji that he takes with his phone!! he will engage conversation with you about what he enjoys, what's good to do around... We arrived kinda late, he explained to us that there was a firework show starting at 8pm, but we weren't going to get there on time, so without thinking twice he offered to drive us there. After that he also offers breakfast cooked by him. The room we stayed in had kotatsu, super comfy futon and a really nice view. It was only for a day bit it really was the best!

Location . The free shuttle service to and from the bus terminal. The landlord was nice and kind. He served me miso soup every morning.

1) very good location to Kawaguchiko station, a 15-min walk or a 3 mins ride(yes the host was kind enough to offer me a free ride 6:40 early to station otherwise I have to take my luggage for a walk ありがと) 2) the host is extremely nice to prepare snacks and tea upon arriving, and showed everything about this ryokan) 3) very unique ryokan experience u can’t miss!! The Japanese bath and onsen. 4) the house is well organized

A wonderful traditionally furnished house in a good spot in kawaguchi-ko. The owner is very friendly and offered to make us traditional breakfast for a good price. He also provided pick up and drop off from the station. The rooms offer (slightly obstructed) views of Fuji. The house is walking distance from some decent chain restaurants. The house offers a traditional bathroom with bath, which tattooed people can also enjoy.

The host was absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming, gave us soup, brought us back to the train, gave us cookies. We speak Japanese so we chatted quiet a bit with him but he also speak English.

This ryokan is very authentic, the owner is a charming guy who invites you in his home, he is super convenient with the people staying here and we felt super welcome. He offered us food and tea every day but still had a lot of respect for your privacy. The room was large and contained everything we needed. The rest of the facilities are shared but it's definitely not a problem given the amount of people that were there at the same time.

Had the loveliest of stays at our first ever ryokan experience. The host was warm and gracious and gave us a true Japanese hospitality treatment. Would highly recommend to stay here.
