We booked the rooms with no view, however we can still open the window for fresh air, this wasn't a problem, we can always walk out from the hotel to admire the lake and Mount Fuji anyway. There are only 2 lifts going up and down, luckily we never need to wait for a long time for it to arrive. We arrived 15mins before check-in time, however the front desk lady is still willing to process our check-in, we just need to wait a bit for the cleaning to finish. There are two coffee machines at lobby, where we can make coffee at anytime of the day. The room is spacious enough to even open a clamshell big luggage (28inch), the room can feel a bit dated though. Breakfast is buffet style, and it is good and filling, we have to choose a timeslot to have our breakfast, but there is no one there to hush us out if we exceeded that timeslot, just being mindful if there are a lot of people out there waiting to come into the dining area to get their breakfast would suffice. There are a lot if not plenty of tables in the dining area by the way. The onsen on 6th floor is great, I went there at night once and in the morning once, there were barely anyone there. There is a washing machine there if you need to wash your clothes, however remember to buy the detergent from front desk. On the checkout day, we utilised the hotel's shuttle bus to go to Kawaguchiko Station, which is very nice as we had our luggage and we can avoid the packed buses.

Affordable stay for a fantastic view of Fujisan and the lake in nice weather from the lobby/in front of hotel. The included breakfast buffet had a good variety with hot croissants. The rooms were a bit dated but clean and well kept with a kettle and mini fridge. The rooms were a bit small (no view rooms) which was fine for a few days, the view rooms were larger (previous trip). The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was decently sized with amenities and sleepwear provided. There is a private onsen with a fantastic view that could be booked for 3000 yen for an hour. There was also a shuttle bus to the station which was incredibly handy and had to be booked in advance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Mt Fuji is viewable from the hotel, partially blocked. If you walk a little, you could see the whole Mt Fuji over the lake. Good access to the hotel with public transport. Close to attractions such as Mt Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. Easy access to the train station via buses.
