Traditional japanese style room with Mt. Fuji view. We couldn’t see Mt fuji on our first day of stay due to cloudy sky but saw it on second day from our room at 5 am. Mt Fuji view was amazing. Very near to Lake Kawaguchiko. Host was very kind. He offered to pick up and drop us back at the station. Common kitchen and bathroom were comfortable. Nice japanese garden and common lounge.

I had a lovely stay at hostel MICHIKUSA-YA and was sad I only had time for one night to explore the beautiful area. There is an epic view of Mt Fiji from the lounge. The host was very kind and helpful. He even found my JR rail pass and forwarded it to my next hostel for me. Very grateful! Thank you!

Very nice accommodation and the host is doing an amazing job. Everything is very clean and well organized. Host offers transportation between Kawaguchiko station and his place, which is in a quiet area close to the lake. It was very pleasant to stay at this place. Definitely recommend it.

We loved to stay in this hostel! It was a great experience to have traditional Japanese stay. The view of our room was just incredable. Luckly, we had an amazing weather to see Mt Fuji during our stay. They picked us from the train station and they again left us to train station by their car, we are really apprecited for their kindness.

We Loved this place. Ryokan style accommodation with the most amazing view of Mount Fuji! The owner is kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

the host is very thoughtful and frendily. The room is clean and tidy, we all had a good sleep during the night. when we woke up, it was a good day. we could see the full scale of Mout. Fuji from window. we took a lot of pictures inside the room. the shower room is nice. everything is perfect. the hostel is full japanese style. we all love it!
